    Pros +

    • Right in the heart of Vigan City. Calle Crisologo is less than 10 minute walk. Breakfast was really good.
    • The hotel is clean, nice room, beds, blankets with shampoo, conditioner, body soap. All staff are good, the hotel manager treats us like VIP's.
    • Free water and coffee

    Cons -

    • The street gets really loud. I could hear everything outside, Tricycles, motorcycles, and other vehicles passing by.
    • The room had ants climbing the walls and in the bathroom I found cockroaches and mould growing on tile grout in shower. Very noisy from outside traffic. The stairwell hand rail felt sticky with grime. The stairs tiles look like they have not been cleaned. The whole place looked rundown
    • The front desk lady is rude .

Just the location. It was advertised $30.00 but when I checked out it became $65.00… when I asked the front desk she was rude also and told us that we should just went straight to the hotel and did not booked on line . Vicky the front rest lady was forcing me to buy the buffet breakfast , she did informed me where the floor number and the room key when I was waiting .. we were tired after the long trip but front desk lady was not nice and had a bad customer service . I don’t recommend this , door is broken, there is no door to the shower , towel is old and looks dirty .

The front desk lady is rude .

The location is great. Just few minutes walk to the plaza and Calle Crisologo

Areas for Improvement:1.Room Conditions:•During our first night on the 3rd floor, the shower head was leaking from the heater box and appeared defective. The room lacked a fridge and hair dryer, though these were listed in the advertisement. Towels were old and discolored, appearing brown instead of white, which suggests they need replacement. Additionally, the air conditioner was extremely noisy, making it difficult to sleep.•On the second night, we were transferred to the 2nd floor. While the first room was in good condition, the second room had a defective faucet knob, and the air conditioner wasn’t cooling properly.2.Room Cleanliness:•The first room on the 2nd floor was clean and comfortable, and the air conditioner worked well, allowing for a restful night. However, the second room’s bathroom had not been cleaned, and there was urine left in the toilet bowl. We had to clean it ourselves as we were in a rush.3.Breakfast Buffet:•We paid 250 PHP per head for the breakfast buffet, with one complimentary meal for my birthday. However, when we arrived at 8 AM, there was barely any food left, and what remained seemed to be leftovers from earlier guests. No staff member offered an apology or explanation, which was disappointing.

The bed was comfortable, fairly quiet.

No refrigerator, no access to cold drinking water unless a trip to the ground floor, we were 2nd.No shampoo /soap or toilet paper.

Staff at the reception was very kind, good location (just ten minutes by walk to the historic city center), room and bathroom are big. The offer of city tour might be good, we didn't try it but the price and itinerary is good.

If you need silence to sleep, ask for a room oriented to the inner block. Unfortunately our room was situated to the very noisy street (all day, all night). The mattress in bed is soft. The sink in the shower smelled bad, especially in the morning.

We had a pleasant stay, largely due to the very convenient location and the friendly, accommodating staff.

The facilities could use some improvement. The door locks were loose, and the shower was missing a faucet handle, making it quite difficult to take a bath. Thankfully, it was just a short stay for one night, but addressing these issues would certainly enhance the overall experience.

We enjoyed our stay at Casa Marita - good location, helpful staff, large rooms

Breakfast choices very limited - only Filipino, no western options

The rooms are clean and spacious. the staff are all friendly.

It was our first time to check-in on a hotel where we have to surrender the keycards at the lobby every time we go out. it was kinda hassle because we couldn’t leave important stuffs at the rooms.
